Women’s Resource Center (WRC) works as MSU’s operational staff for the Women’s Commission, which includes leadership from the Women’s Advisory Committee to the Provost, the Women’s Advisory Committee to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, and the Women’s Advisory Committee to the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Operations. The commission is guided by the results of a 2007 survey—Status of Women at MSU, Voices of Women. The commission uses the WRC staff to enhance the work climate for women, assist women students, and support communication, leadership, and mentorship services.
Recently, the Women’s Commission established the Women’s Resource Center Men's Advisory Council (WRCMAC), an organization consisting of men who support and advocate for women and women’s issues on campus.
